Getting to the Root of the LinkTree

It's Turtles All the Way Down

You ever have one of those days when you go to do one thing, but before you can do that, you have to do another thing, and before you do that, you have to do another...and on and on?

Yeah, that's a lot of what setting up a new business is like. One turtle standing on the back of another, and on and on, and finding the bottom turtle so you can take care of it first, seems to take all day!

All I Wanted to Do Was Set Up a Linktree!

Of course, I have to have pages to link to, if I want to do that. Makes sense, right? But right away I run into an issue - I don't want to link to my personal Facebook page...that's private, and only for personal friends & family. So I have to set up one for myself as a public figure.

I go in to do that and...remember what I said the other day about knowing what to do because I've done it before? Yeah. When I get into Facebook realize that I also have about a half dozen pages from that time that need to be deactivated and/or deleted. No one's been posting to them, so I easily just forgot about their existence.

And once I open up Facebook? I don't know about you, but I'm pretty much guaranteed to lose at least half an hour. Pretty sure it was closer to an hour today. sigh

Eventually, I DID Get Things Done

After several additional password entries (they won't let you log into a page you've left dormant for a long time without a password check, and then you have to enter your password again to delete a page), I finally got the cleanup done, and the new page set up. Here it is, in case you're curious!
